Looking for a flexible care role that fits right around your lifestyle? Partnering with Barchester Healthcare, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bank Care Assistant to join the team at Southerndown Care Home on a casual, flexible basis.
In this role, you will provide essential cover as and when needed (such as for annual or sick leave), helping residents enjoy each day by delivering top-quality care, meaningful companionship, and support.
Pay Rate: £15.02 per hour
Hours: Bank / As and when required (Flexible casual role)
Shifts: Days or Nights available
Closing Date: 28 August 2026
Key Responsibilities
Support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and food and drink support.
Provide meaningful companionship, sharing great moments and memories to enrich residents' daily lives.
Follow tailored care plans and ensure every resident receives dedicated one-to-one time.
Adapt to a varied and rewarding daily routine, delivering the high standard of care residents deserve.
What We Are Looking For
Prior experience caring for older people.
Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive, can-do approach.
Genuine empathy, a warm-hearted disposition, and a true passion for helping others.
