ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive continuous, high-quality care, comfort, and safety throughout the night. This casual bank position provides true flexibility, allowing you to choose night shifts that fit around your personal commitments while providing essential cover for annual leave or sickness.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with night-time routines, personal care, comfort, and mobility support.
Carry out regular wellbeing checks throughout the night while respecting residents' rest and privacy.
Follow individual care plans to ensure person-centred, dignified care.
Respond promptly to call bells and night-time needs, providing warm reassurance and companionship.
Support care staff and clinical colleagues to maintain a safe, tranquil home environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking empathetic, reliable individuals who are comfortable with night-shift routines and passionate about delivering outstanding support to older adults.
Requirements & Attributes:
Experience: Previous experience caring for older people.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Mindset: A positive, can-do attitude combined with practical problem-solving skills and comfort working night shifts.
Compassion: A genuinely warm and caring nature dedicated to preserving resident dignity and wellbeing.
