In this role, you will deliver exceptional perioperative care, supporting multidisciplinary teams across a varied surgical caseload using state-of-the-art facilities and technology.
Working on a flexible bank contract basis, you will support theatre operations on an ad-hoc schedule tailored to suit facility needs and your availability, including potential weekend shifts. You will maintain high standards of clinical effectiveness, evidence-based care, and patient safety throughout the perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality scrub and perioperative care across a diverse range of surgical procedures within a multidisciplinary team.
Assist in supervising, supporting, and developing junior members of the operating theatre team.
Maintain rigorous standards of sterile technique, patient safety, and clinical documentation using advanced medical equipment.
Requirements
Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Proven post-registration scrub experience within a hospital operating theatre environment.
Meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
