Position: Multi Skilled Logistics Operative
Location: Boston (Home to a team of around 400 colleagues producing ready-to-eat salads, prepared vegetables, and snacks for major retailers like Co-op, Boots, Greggs, Costco, Spar, and BOL)
Pay Rate: Up to £13.97 per hour
Job Type: Permanent - Full-Time
Shift Pattern: 5 from 7 days (Weekdays: 12:00 – 20:00 / Weekends: 05:00 – 13:00)

As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are proud to partner with Greencore (following their combination with Bakkavor) to find dedicated supply chain and logistics talent. Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their Boston facility, we are currently seeking a versatile and proactive Multi Skilled Logistics Operative to ensure production lines are properly serviced, goods are stored accurately, and rigorous health, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Line Setup & Supply: Prepare and set up lines before production, ensuring correct packaging, trays, cages, printed labels, and operating tape machines are fully supplied according to production plans.
Traceability & Stock Management: Complete detailed traceability paperwork (tracking use-by dates, amounts, prices, and temperatures), stack packaged orders onto wheels or pallets, and manage the storage and locating of incoming goods in warehouse areas.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain clean workspaces by utilizing downtime to clean around and under equipment, adhering strictly to company health & safety policies and food hygiene standards.
What The Candidate Needs
While full training is provided, ideal candidates will bring:
Experience: Previous experience within a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment (FLT experience is preferred but not essential).
Core Skills: Good literacy, numeracy, and computer literacy skills, with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a "right first-time" approach.
Attributes: Good communication skills, ability to work well in a team, and a basic awareness of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene practices.
