As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Relief Senior Care Assistant for Sir Aubrey Ward House. Located in the heart of Marlow, this cheerful residential care home features 60 individual rooms, lovely first-floor balconies, and an enclosed courtyard garden.
As a Senior Carer, your professionalism, kindness, and compassion will be at the core of everything you do. You will support the Home Manager by leading a team of care staff, planning and implementing person-centred care that promotes residents' security, dignity, and independence. You’ll also ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, and evaluation.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor a small team of carers to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.
Care Planning: Oversee regular reviews and updates of resident care plans to ensure tailored, high-quality support.
Resident Wellbeing: Balance your time effectively between team management and directly supporting the health, safety, and happiness of residents.
Problem Solving: Use your initiative to take charge, handle queries, and resolve day-to-day challenges on shift.
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting alongside an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care. Previous supervisory experience (such as inductions, 1-to-1s, or delegating tasks) is a bonus!
