Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Barchester Healthcare to recruit an experienced and dedicated Bank Residential Senior Carer for Field House Care Home.
In this flexible, casual role, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will lead a team of care staff on shift—handling training, supervisions, and task delegation—while supporting medication management, updating care plans and risk assessments, and liaising with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident families. You will play a key role in maintaining a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that respects resident dignity at all times.
Lead, mentor, and delegate duties to a team of care staff on shift.
Oversee the administration and ordering of medication safely and accurately.
Review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
Liaise professionally with GPs, district nursing teams, and resident family members.
Provide flexible cover for planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sick leave).
Hold an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Previous experience working within a residential care setting.
Proven team leadership skills and the ability to make confident, appropriate decisions.
