ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a flexible, casual position designed to cover planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sickness cover) across mixed shifts (days and nights). As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive personalized care, assistance with daily living, and meaningful companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, and mealtime routines.
Follow individual care plans to deliver person-centred physical and emotional support.
Spend quality one-to-one time with residents to build trust and share positive moments.
Provide flexible cover across day or night shifts as required by the care home.
Collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, welcoming, and dignified environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a warm-hearted, dependable individual with experience in elderly care and a positive, flexible approach to working hours.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for older adults (in a professional or care setting).
A positive "can-do" attitude accompanied by strong communication skills.
High levels of empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for resident wellbeing.
Willingness to participate in comprehensive, free ongoing training.
