What You Will Be Doing
Lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care and clinical services, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations on your unit.
Delegate nursing tasks, coordinate across multidisciplinary teams, and act as a crucial liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Supervise unit team members, monitor changing patient conditions, and provide guidance and hands-on support.
Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Relevant professional nursing qualification with active NMC registration as an RMN or RNLD.
Relevant clinical experience in a similar mental health environment.
Proven track record of strong leadership and management skills.
A positive, caring, and compassionate attitude with a deep commitment to evidence-based practice.

Ballington House in Leek, Staffordshire (ST13 5LW) is a 13-bed mental health rehabilitation hospital providing specialized care for women with complex needs. The service follows a structured three-phase pathway—assessment, rehabilitation, and community preparation—guiding residents from admission toward total self-reliance, supported by an expert multidisciplinary team.
