We are currently recruiting on behalf of Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd—the UK’s leading provider of community equipment services to the NHS and local authorities—as they look for a dedicated Warehouse and Cleaning Operative to join their team at the Norfolk Depot in Norwich.
About the Role
As a Warehouse and Cleaning Operative, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining and enhancing the success of the depot by ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards. You will focus on the meticulous decontamination, cleaning, and safe processing of vital medical devices and equipment.
This role combines warehouse hygiene, strict decontamination protocols, and a strong duty of care to ensure that equipment is prepped safely for service users across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough decontamination and cleaning of medical devices and equipment.
Ensure "goods in and out" are cleaned, decontaminated, and processed safely and correctly.
Maintain high standards of general cleaning and hygiene throughout the depot and warehouse.
Uphold a vital duty of care to service users, working independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
About You
You are a dependable, detail-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining high safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
Experience: Ideally, some previous experience in a cleaning operative or warehouse role is desirable.
Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible with working days/hours to suit business needs and participate in an emergency on-call rota.
