As an Activities Assistant at Lawton Rise Care Home, you will deliver imaginative, fun, and varied activities that create a motivational and fulfilling environment. Your role will involve helping plan and deliver an entertainment program covering pastimes, social activities, outings, and events—empowering residents to live as independently as possible and strengthening connections with family, friends, and the local community.
Key Responsibilities
Activities & Events: Design, plan, and deliver a diverse schedule of engaging, fun, and meaningful activities and outings.
Resident Engagement: Ensure residents can pursue their favourite hobbies and interests while maximizing their social involvement and well-being.
Community Connection: Foster strong, vibrant ties between residents, their loved ones, and the local community.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: No specific prior experience is required—you can come from any background!
Personality: A great sense of fun, high creativity, enthusiasm, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting older people.
Skills: The ability to encourage, motivate, and inspire both residents and fellow team members. Full training and development will be provided!
