Role Overview & Highlights
Job Title: Registered Nurse (Days)
Location: Bupa Hutton Village Care Home, Hutton Village, Hutton, Brentwood, CM13 1RX
Pay Rate: £18.41 - £21.48 per hour (dependent on experience)
Bonus: £1,000 Welcome Bonus (paid after four weeks of service)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (36 hours per week, working 3 x 12-hour day shifts)
As a Day Registered Nurse, you will take vital responsibility for resident well-being, managing unit operations, and delivering clinical leadership. You will work alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team to ensure that physical, emotional, and social needs are met with the utmost compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care & Assessments: Carry out clinical assessments, develop individual care plans, oversee medication management, and ensure high standards of daily care.
Clinical Leadership: Manage unit operations alongside clinical duties, providing guidance to care teams and playing a crucial role in CQC compliance.
Team Coaching & Training: Coach and mentor colleagues through formal and informal teaching programs to drive best practice.
Safety & Compliance: Monitor work areas to ensure adherence to safety standards, legislation, and Bupa policies.
Family Partnerships: Build strong, trusting connections with residents and their families, providing kindness, support, and transparent communication.
Key Skills & Qualifications Needed
Registration: A valid NMC pin with active registration.
Experience: Previous professional background ensuring high clinical standards, managing care plans, and handling medication.
Communication: Effective reporting and interpersonal skills for seamless clinical handovers and family engagement.
