Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the warm and supportive team at Lift Tamworth—a school that recently achieved a 'Good' Ofsted rating in all areas and is led by a welcoming, collaborative leadership team.
In this rewarding role, you will work alongside teachers to help students access learning, build confidence, and achieve their goals. You will focus on understanding each student's unique needs, fostering an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, safe, and empowered to succeed.
Support students in accessing lesson content and reaching their learning goals, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Collaborate with teachers to plan, guide, and assess individual or small-group learning sessions.
Help students develop independent learning skills, self-confidence, and personal resilience.
Build positive, respectful relationships with students, supporting their overall wellbeing, behaviour, and personal care needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
The right values matter most: You don't need years of prior experience, but you do need empathy, patience, and a calm, reflective approach.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative, supportive mindset.
Basic IT skills and an interest in child development (training and support will be provided).
