As a Care Assistant at Oak Grange Care Home, you will help our residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Every day is varied and rewarding—from assisting with daily living, meals, and drinks to following care plans and providing dedicated one-to-one companionship and wonderful memories.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Care: Assist residents with daily living, follow personalised care plans, and ensure each individual receives dedicated attention and support.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, build warm relationships, and share special moments and memories with residents.
Daily Support: Help with meals, refreshments, and day-to-day activities to promote independence, comfort, and well-being across daytime shifts.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Some prior experience of caring for older people.
Approach: A can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a warm-hearted, empathetic nature.
