Laundry Assistant (Bank)

In this role, you will be an essential part of the housekeeping team, taking great pride in maintaining high standards of laundry care for all residents. You will help ensure that clothing, linens, and soft furnishings are washed, ironed, and cared for meticulously, directly contributing to a clean, comfortable, and homely environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold resident clothing and care home linens according to proper hygiene standards.

• Ensure all personal garments are correctly handled, maintained, and returned to the appropriate resident rooms.

• Maintain clean, organized laundry equipment and work areas while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and organized approach to work.

• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in supporting residents within a care home setting.

• Right to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Urmston, UK.
