Position: Production Line Setter - Night Shift (Part-Time)
Location: Manton Wood, Worksop (Home to a team of around 1,700 colleagues producing sandwiches and wraps for major retailers like Co-op, Asda, Morrisons, Boots, Aldi, and Lidl, featuring an on-site gym, hot food restaurant, and staff shop)
Pay Rate: £16.95 per hour (Overtime paid at x1.25 after 48 hours)
Job Type: Permanent - Part-Time
Shift Pattern: Wednesday to Friday, 17:30 – 05:00 (Nights)

Greencore is one of the UK’s leading convenience food creators, employing over 28,000 colleagues across 36 manufacturing sites and 21 distribution depots.
At their major Manton Wood facility, we are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Production Line Setter for night shifts to ensure all line equipment operates correctly and efficiently, maximizing output while upholding strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setting & Maintenance: Set up and maintain machines at the start of production and throughout shifts, carrying out frontline maintenance to improve performance and minimize downtime via SIC reviews and PPM systems.
Efficiency & Waste Reduction: Investigate downtime, implement corrective actions, and proactively resolve machine issues while keeping waste levels to an absolute minimum.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food safety, HACCP, QA, hygiene standards, and customer specifications, completing all required safety paperwork and risk assessments.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Technical Skills: Prior experience working with machinery, with a strong knowledge of heavy-duty, high-speed equipment and the ability to use measurement tools.
Competencies: Strong understanding of production procedures, safety methods, hazard regulations, and the ability to read manuals, blueprints, and handbooks with keen attention to detail.
