About this role
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Gateford Hill for a Maintenance (Day) person to join their team in Worksop, UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical safety, upkeep, and smooth operation of the care home environment and its equipment. Working as a key member of the team, you will perform routine Health and Safety checks, carry out general repairs, and maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming setting for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform regular Health and Safety checks on the building, surrounding environment, and equipment.
Carry out routine maintenance, basic repairs, and upkeep tasks across resident rooms and communal areas.
Manage time effectively to prioritize maintenance requests while interacting respectfully and comfortably with residents living with dementia.
Requirements
Relevant maintenance qualification (or willingness to work towards one) with an understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
A valid, clean UK Driving License with strong organizational, communication, and task-prioritization skills.
Eligibility to work in the UK and reside within a commutable distance of Worksop, UK, with flexibility to work some weekends.
