Position: Health Advisor
Location: Oxford Clinic, OX4 2JZ (Note: This role requires travel to other clinics within the South region, so candidates must be willing to travel)
Salary: £28,700 per annum + fantastic benefits
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (40 hours per week, with consideration given to flexibility in locations, hours, and working patterns)

As a Health Advisor with Bupa Clinics, you will use your training and education to deliver comprehensive health assessments and support customers in making positive lifestyle changes. You will spend the majority of your time directly with patients, carrying out essential clinical measurements and using motivational interviewing techniques to drive behaviour change.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the service delivery of Health Assessments to customers and maintain accurate, end-to-end client records.
Promote and encourage healthier lifestyles in accordance with Bupa's clinical policies.
Carry out a wide range of clinical testing, including body composition analysis, spirometry, heart rate monitoring, gas analysis, diabetes blood test markers, blood pressure, cholesterol profiling, anaemia markers, ECGs, audiometry, and functional movement screening.
Create individual lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques and conduct post-assessment follow-up calls.
Prioritise the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults at risk across all clinical operations.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition (essential).
Customer-facing experience (essential), with desirable experience in performing measurements or assessments in a health, fitness, or medical environment.
High accuracy in information recording and a strong commitment to working within clinical guidelines.
Exceptional rapport-building skills, tailoring your approach to individuals with empathy and a natural ability to motivate positive health changes.
