Role Description
Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is delighted to recruit a passionate Gardener on behalf of our client to maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces of a welcoming care home in Trowbridge. In this role, you will be responsible for creating safe, vibrant, and uplifting garden areas that residents can enjoy year-round, ensuring the grounds always make an outstanding first impression.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain flowerbeds, trees, and outdoor structures while safely operating gardening tools and COSHH-regulated chemicals.
Keep pathways, fencing, and grounds clean, secure, and clear of seasonal hazards like snow or ice.
Engage creatively with seasonal planting projects to foster an appealing and therapeutic outdoor environment for residents.
Requirements
Practical experience in general gardening and outdoor property maintenance.
Strong understanding of health and safety standards, including safe chemical handling.
A patient, empathetic, and reliable nature suitable for working in a residential care setting.
