Working as a permanent Kitchen Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents enjoy healthy, nutritious meals and a fulfilling dining experience. Beyond assisting in the kitchen and food preparation process, you will have plenty of opportunities to interact directly with residents, enhance their daily lives, and be a valued asset to your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Assist in producing wholesome, nutritious meals and maintaining a high standard of food preparation.
Help create an enjoyable, fulfilling dining experience for every resident.
Support overall kitchen cleanliness, safety, and operational flow during day shifts.
Build warm, positive relationships with residents, enhancing their hospitality experience.

Note: Formal qualifications are not necessary, though previous experience in a commercial or care kitchen environment is useful! Full training is provided.
