Working as a permanent Head of Housekeeping through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will help create the warm, pristine, and homely surroundings that are vital to delivering top-quality care. Leading and motivating a dedicated housekeeping team, you will ensure every room and living space is maintained to the highest possible standards, making your care home a shining example of an exceptional living environment.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Lead, inspire, and manage the housekeeping team to perform at their absolute best.
Ensure all rooms, communal areas, and living spaces are meticulously maintained.
Maintain rigorous standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the care home.
Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, relatives, and staff members daily.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Previous housekeeping experience within a care home, hospital, or hotel environment is highly advantageous.
A proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
A caring, warm-hearted nature paired with excellent communication skills.
Fantastic attention to detail and a proactive, pride-in-your-work attitude.
