Are you a trained butcher or someone with professional butchery skills gained either behind the counter or in a commercial kitchen? Morrisons is looking for a talented Market Street Butcher in Saltney to bring traditional craft skills and first-class service to their fresh meat counter.
In this role, you will be the face of the butcher counter, handling tasks such as:
Preparing meat primals to company specifications (cutting, pricing, weighing, steaking, dicing, mincing, boning, flavouring, and wrapping).
Using specialized equipment safely (knives, saws, mallets, and mincing machines).
Maintaining fresh, attractive, and high-quality food displays throughout the day.
Producing custom meat cuts for in-store and online customers.
Delivering exceptional, friendly service that highlights Morrisons' traditional butchery expertise.
About You
We are looking for someone who loves being active and hands-on. Ideal candidates will possess:
Proven butchery or knife skills/experience.
A friendly, supportive approach with a passion for exceptional customer service.
The ability to work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street.
A strong commitment to maintaining high standards of Health and Safety while using equipment.
