Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Installation: Install and modify electrical components and systems, including 1st fix containment (tray, ladder, conduit), 2nd fix installations, power, lighting, and commissioning as per construction drawings.

• Testing & Certification: Carry out full testing and inspection to enable the completion of necessary certification and red-line drawings as work progresses.

• Project Support: Assist Project Managers and Supervisors by providing progress updates, adhering to RAMS, and helping compile estimates or quotations.

• Safety & Compliance: Conform strictly to safety rules, follow permit-to-work systems, and escalate any issues affecting site availability, health, safety, or security.

What You Will Need

• Qualifications: City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent NVQ), C&G 2382-10 18th Edition, and C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification is preferred).

• Experience: Proven experience in commercial electrical installations and LV distribution systems (DC/UPS experience is an advantage).

• Skills: Basic computer literacy (tablet and phone use), strong communication, and a flexible approach to work.

• Certifications: First Aid, IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS, SSSTS, or IOSH are advantageous (training can be provided).

• Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain national security clearance.
