Role Overview
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will take a hands-on approach to maintaining, repairing, and improving back-end production machinery. You will own equipment reliability, diagnose mechanical faults, complete proactive maintenance, and drive continuous improvement to maximize production output and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and optimize back-end production machinery and equipment.
Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective corrective and preventative actions.
Contribute to reducing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability across the plant.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
Essential: Level 3 Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ (or equivalent).
Proven hands-on experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
