Rate of Pay: £20.74 - £23.51 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Bank Contract (Part-Time, primarily to cover night shifts)
About the Role
We are partnering with Hatfield Peverel Care Home in Chelmsford to find a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse on a bank contract basis. As a Bank Registered Nurse through Supportive Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in managing the unit, overseeing clinical excellence, and ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents, all while enjoying flexible working patterns tailored to your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for the well-being of residents, making sure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Manage unit clinical duties, including the oversight of care, administering and ordering medication, and evaluating individualised care plans.
Coach, mentor, and guide the care team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and professionals.
Monitor work areas and practices to ensure strict compliance with safety standards, policies, legislation, and CQC requirements.
Utilise strong critical thinking and self-reliance during night shifts—where you will primarily work with limited support—to ensure patient safety, manage care staff, and remain calm in emergencies.
What Me Are Looking For
A qualified Registered Nurse with a valid, active NMC pin.
Previous experience in a care home environment is ideal, alongside a proven track record of maintaining high clinical standards.
Confident in offering clinical guidance to care teams and supporting all CQC-related responsibilities.
Excellent communication, reporting, and handover skills, paired with a genuine passion for making a real difference in people's lives.
