Working as a permanent Regional Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will deliver high-quality care across a 20-mile radius. In this dynamic role, you will monitor care delivery, contribute to person-centred care planning, record vital observations (such as temperature and blood pressure), and ensure every resident enjoys meaningful companionship and one-to-one time on every single shift.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care across designated Barchester homes within a 20-mile radius.
Monitor care delivery and contribute to individualized person-centred care plans.
Record key health observations including temperature, blood pressure, and daily notes.
Provide meaningful companionship and dedicated one-to-one time for residents.
Adapt to flexible mixed day and night shift patterns.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Previous background and a strong understanding of elderly care.
Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care and GCSE English/Maths (grade C or above) are highly desirable.
A dedicated, compassionate, and passionate approach to resident wellbeing.
Your own car or ready access to one (mileage is covered when traveling over five miles from your main home!).
Bonus Incentive: Qualify for a special inspection bonus if on duty during an inspection that achieves a "Good" rating.
