We are proud to partner with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider—to recruit a dedicated and experienced Deputy Clinical Services Manager for the Oncology department at The Harbour Hospital in Poole.
Work clinically as part of the active rota, providing expert clinical oversight and supporting the oncology nursing team during shifts.
Ensure the unit operates safely, efficiently, and effectively, upholding the highest standards of patient-centered care at all times.
Act as the key point of contact and operational leader in the absence of the Clinical Services Manager.
Oversee workforce management by assisting with daily staff allocation, rotas, and managing safe staffing levels and skill mix across the unit.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing and support personnel.
Oversee the fair and efficient management of annual leave, study leave, and sickness absence.
Registration: Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid, active NMC registration.
Experience: Significant background working within a ward, inpatient, critical care, or specialized clinical environment, backed by prior leadership or supervisory experience.
Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of governance, patient safety, and clinical protocols, alongside exceptional communication, organization, and leadership capabilities.
Desirable Criteria: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty or critical care nursing; leadership or management qualification; ILS/ALS certification; previous experience working in private healthcare or multi-specialty inpatient settings.
Competitive Salary: Up to £50,000.00 per year.
