Salary: £13.20 – £14.20 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Freelands Croft, you will play a crucial leadership role in ensuring that every corner of our care home sparkles and provides a comfortable, hygienic environment for our residents. Combining a keen eye for detail with a heart for helping others, you will lead a dedicated team of housekeepers and laundry assistants, inspiring them to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness across the home, working closely with maintenance and management teams.
Lead by example with hands-on cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and upkeeping communal areas and resident bedrooms.
Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, manage staff rotas, coordinate training, and oversee inventory and stock replenishment.
Build warm relationships with residents while prioritizing and delegating tasks effectively across your team.
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in a housekeeping or domestic supervisory role.
A strong commitment to high work standards and maintaining an organized environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently lead, motivate, and guide a team.
