We are currently recruiting a part-time Customer Assistant to join the team at a premier, fast-moving retail store in Dalkeith. If you are an early bird looking for an engaging role with a steady schedule, this 15–20 hour contract is the perfect match.

In this dynamic environment, no two shifts are the same. From restocking shelves to jumping on the tills, you’ll keep moving, help business boom, and never be bored. You’ll work closely with your retail colleagues to keep the store clean, tidy, and organised, ensuring every customer receives the great service they deserve.

What You’ll Earn & Receive

• Hourly Rate: £13.45 – £14.45 per hour

• Premium Pay: An additional £2.00/hr for Bank Holidays and £3.50/hr for night shifts

• Holiday: 30–35 days of annual leave (pro rata)

What You’ll Do

• Act as a store expert, helping customers with their questions, queries, and requests.

• Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store.

• Passionately provide excellent customer service.

• Proactively keep the bakery topped up by baking fresh goods.

• Expertly merchandise and maintain the middle aisles of Non-Food products.

• Experience working in a fast-paced retail, hospitality, or customer-facing environment.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Flexibility: Full availability for early morning starts from 5:30 AM, including weekends, is essential.
