About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Five Rivers Child Care Ltd to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher for their specialist provision at Willow Haven in Warrington. This is an exceptional opportunity to transform lives within a nurturing, trauma-informed educational environment.
You will work with children and young people aged 6 to 18, utilizing a flexible teaching structure that delivers bespoke therapeutic and educational frameworks tailored to individual needs. Teaching may take place on-site in our nurturing school setting or out in the community for pupils who are temporarily unable to attend school.
Working within our Trauma-Informed Practice model (proud holders of the Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Gold Award), you will support young people who have experienced disrupted education and complex life events, helping them rebuild confidence and achieve academic success.
Key Requirements
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) status.
Mobility: A valid UK driving licence (essential for community-based outreach teaching).
Compliance: Right to Work in the UK.
Skills & Attributes: Strong written and IT competencies, exceptional communication skills, and the capacity to actively listen and forge positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable young people.
Experience: Background or a strong passion for specialist education, alternative provision, or trauma-informed practice.
