Location: Sawley Distribution Centre (Transferring to Bardon LE67)

Pay Rate: £14.93 per hour

⚠️ Important Location & Travel Note Before Applying:

Successful candidates will initially train and support operations at the Sawley Distribution Centre for up to 9 months. Following this period, you will be required to transfer to the Bardon Distribution Centre (LE67). Please ensure you have reliable personal transport to commute to both locations before applying.

Guided by a voice-headset system, you’ll navigate the fresh/chilled warehouse area to accurately pick products, verify paperwork, and safely operate handling equipment in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Picking: Select chilled products accurately using a voice headset system to achieve daily targets.

• Paperwork & Quality: Carefully check order sheets and inventory documentation to maintain high quality control.

• Equipment Safety: Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently (full training provided).

• Safe Operations: Adhere strictly to warehouse health & safety and manual handling guidelines.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Physically Active: Comfortably fit and energized for a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse role in a chilled environment.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and accurate when selecting stock and verifying inventory.

• Reliable & Flexible: Dependable work ethic with a strong "can-do" attitude and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.

• No previous warehouse experience required! Full training on equipment and systems will be provided.
