Join the housekeeping team at Adderley Green in Stoke-on-Trent! Working closely with the maintenance team, you will ensure that all areas—including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor spaces—remain spotless, hygienic, and safe while helping to change lives for the better.
What You Will Be Doing
Clean and maintain all areas of the service to an exceptionally high standard, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas.
Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all facility areas remain pristine and safe.
Maintain hospital security standards by strictly following relevant policies and procedures defined by the facility.
Exhibit excellent telephone etiquette and greet visitors in a professional, welcoming manner.
Establish and maintain strong, positive working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Previous cleaning experience within a similar healthcare, clinical, or professional environment.
A genuine passion for cleaning and a sense of satisfaction from a job well done.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
Good communication skills with high attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
An efficient, problem-solving approach to spot and resolve issues quickly.
Where You Will Be Working
Adderley Green is a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service in Stoke-on-Trent for adults over 18 with complex neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. The facility features extensive resources and a full interdisciplinary team working collaboratively to deliver person-centred care, allowing residents to undergo structured reviews and work toward targeted, monitored recovery goals.
