We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Selectors working day shifts at the Aldi Distribution Centre in Neston.
As a Warehouse Selector, you are a vital part of the supply chain. You will be responsible for preparing stock to be delivered to Aldi stores across the region. This is an active, physical, and fast-paced role where no two days are quite the same.
Order Picking via Headset: You will wear a voice-directed headset that guides you through the warehouse aisles, telling you exactly which items to pick and where to find them.
Target Management: You will work efficiently to hit daily picking speed and accuracy targets.
Quality & Document Checks: You will verify stock labels and paperwork to ensure stores receive correct inventory without damage or errors.
Operating Warehouse Vehicles: You will drive Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE)—such as low-level order pickers (LLOPs)—to transport stock safely around the facility.
Health & Safety: You will keep your work area clean, follow site safety guidelines, and protect both yourself and your teammates.
Physical Stamina: This job keeps you moving! You should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting items throughout your shift.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy is just as important as speed. You need a sharp eye for numbers and codes.
Positive Attitude: A flexible, "can-do" mindset and a strong work ethic are essential for working in a busy team environment.
Experience Required: None! While previous warehouse experience is a bonus, full training is provided on day one.
Competitive Progression: Starting at £14.93 per hour, with structured pay increases linked to your time on the job.
Paid Leave: 4 weeks of paid annual leave PLUS official bank holidays.
Work-Life Balance: Shifts are planned to give you regular 7–8 hour workdays.
Health & Wellbeing Support: Access to employee assistance programs, mental health support, and confidential wellbeing advice.
Lifestyle Discounts: Exclusive savings on gym memberships, high-street shopping, cinema tickets, and entertainment.
Family-Friendly Policies: Enhanced paid leave options for maternity, paternity, neonatal, and adoption care after one year of continuous service.
Career Growth: Opportunities for ongoing training, upskilling, and promotion within the logistics network.
