Are you a technical specialist looking to champion workplace safety and protect workforce health? We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Hygiene Technician to join the team at TAC Healthcare Group in Aberdeen.
In this vital hybrid role, you will support the delivery of high-quality occupational hygiene services to energy and commercial clients. You’ll be responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace health hazards—such as noise, vibration, air quality, and chemicals—while working closely with client HSE teams to ensure full compliance with UK legislation.
Conduct workplace exposure assessments, including monitoring for chemicals, VOCs, $H_2S$, silica, noise, and vibration.
Carry out noise surveys, Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) assessments, and air quality monitoring.
Prepare COSHH assessments, manage safety data within iCOSHH, and maintain hygiene equipment.
Produce clear technical reports and present findings to clients.
Support PPE and respiratory protection programmes, deliver hygiene training, and assist with occupational health initiatives.
Previous experience or solid knowledge in occupational hygiene or health risk management.
Strong communication, data handling, and report-writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
A full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel to client sites and undertake occasional offshore work.
Bonus skills: Offshore or industrial experience, audit/assurance background, a relevant degree, or working towards BOHS certification.
