Position: Care Leader (FTC)
Location: Marden Court, Quarr Barton, Calne, SN11 0EE
Pay Rate: £15.97 per hour (Mon–Fri) / £16.37 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract / 36.5 hours per week
As a Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are proud to partner with this premier not-for-profit provider to find an experienced Care Leader for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Marden Court in Calne.
Set in the charming Wiltshire town of Calne, Marden Court provides devoted, compassionate residential and respite care for up to 28 residents. In this leadership role, you will support the Home Manager, guide a dedicated team of carers, and ensure exceptional standards of care, dignity, and independence are delivered to every resident.
Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
Manage, review, and update resident care plans through continuous assessment and evaluation.
Balance team leadership and mentoring with direct, compassionate support for residents' daily needs.
Use your initiative to solve problems, handle queries, and foster a safe, positive living environment.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study towards Level 3).
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting (supervisory experience such as leading inductions or 1-to-1s is a bonus, but not essential).
Attributes: A positive role model with strong communication skills, natural empathy, and the ability to lead and inspire others with confidence.
Competitive Pay: £15.97ph Mon–Fri, rising to £16.37ph at weekends.
