Position Type: Permanent | Part-Time (11 Hours & 15 Minutes/Week, 6:15am – 8:30am Monday to Friday, 43 Weeks/Year)
Salary: £6,945.89 – £7,287.60 per annum (Actual Salary) + Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) & Lift Schools Benefits

Supportive Bridge Staffing is looking for a reliable, conscientious, and hardworking School Cleaner to join our client, Lift Hockley.
In this vital early-morning role, you will help create a clean, safe, and hygienic learning environment for pupils and staff before the school day begins. Working as part of a friendly facilities team, you will ensure classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal spaces are maintained to high standards.
Daily Cleaning Operations: Sweep, vacuum, mop, polish, and dust classrooms, offices, hall space, and shared areas.
Hygiene & Consumables: Empty waste bins and replenish essential supplies including soap, hand towels, toilet tissue, and bin liners.
Safe Equipment Usage: Operate cleaning tools and materials safely in line with COSHH regulations and school policies.
Deep Cleaning & Maintenance: Assist with scheduled deep-cleaning tasks during school closure periods and report any maintenance issues or stock shortages.
Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for all site users.
Requirements & Experience:
Prior commercial or institutional cleaning experience, including the safe operation of cleaning machinery.
Knowledge of Health & Safety standards, COSHH guidelines, and cleaning best practices is highly desirable.
