Job Title: Portfolio Communications Lead
Location: Angel Court, London, EC2R 7HJ (Hybrid working model: 2+ days per week in the office)
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (37.5 hours per week)

We are partnering with Bupa’s Corporate Affairs team within Bupa Global, India and UK (BGIUK) at their London office to find an experienced and strategic Portfolio Communications Lead on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Portfolio Communications Lead through Supportive Bridge, you will play a crucial senior role in shaping how communication strategies are executed across complex portfolio changes and strategic business initiatives. You will develop compelling narratives, advise senior executives, and safeguard Bupa's reputation while ensuring clear alignment with long-term growth ambitions.
Lead the development and delivery of comprehensive communication plans supporting strategic initiatives and growth priorities across BGIUK.
Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance on complex business decisions, change programmes, and market-sensitive issues.
Design integrated scenario planning and cascade plans spanning media, internal, customer, digital, social media, and public relations channels.
Partner cross-functionally with Internal Communications, Customer Communications, Marketing, and Government Affairs teams to ensure consistent, aligned messaging.
Anticipate emerging issues and manage reputation risks that may affect customers, colleagues, or the wider healthcare sector.
In-depth corporate affairs experience spanning media relations, issues management, corporate communications, strategic communications, change communications, and project communications.
Proven national media handling experience and a strong track record of supporting complex programmes or business transformation projects for large organisations or recognised brands.
Outstanding writing, storytelling, and multi-channel content production skills.
Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and executive-level advisory capabilities.
Strong judgement, risk-assessment skills, and a collaborative, matrix-oriented approach.
Competitive Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum (pro rata) on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
