Housekeeping Assistant

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will support the housekeeping and laundry services to ensure the care home consistently meets high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely with colleagues, you will help create a hygienic, welcoming environment while treating residents and their personal spaces with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out housekeeping and laundry duties in accordance with established cleaning procedures and schedules.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout resident rooms and communal areas using appropriate cleaning methods and products.

• Ensure residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings are respected while delivering excellent housekeeping services.

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a care, healthcare, or hospitality setting.

• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including COSHH, Fire Safety, and Moving and Handling practices.

• A reliable, flexible, and compassionate approach with strong attention to detail.
