Location: Ashwood Care Centre, Gipsy Lane, Warminster, Wiltshire, BA12 9LR (Situated near the town centre in beautiful landscaped grounds)
Pay Rate: £13.67 per hour (Monday to Friday) | £14.07 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Bank / Relief (0 Hours - Flexible shifts and hours to suit your lifestyle)

About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are partnering to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Bank / Relief Day Care Assistant for Ashwood Care Centre. Located on a quiet residential street close to the bustling town of Warminster, Ashwood is surrounded by beautiful gardens, mature trees, and a spacious south-facing courtyard sun trap.
As a Day Care Assistant, you will make a real, lasting difference by supporting residents with daily routines, personal care (such as washing, bathing, and mobility), and engaging daytime activities. While some days may have their challenges, you will also share laughs, have fun, and become a valued part of our extended family, bringing kindness, dignity, and exceptional care to our home.
Key Responsibilities
Person-Centred Care: Support residents with personal care routines and daily living tasks with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Companionship & Wellbeing: Build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with residents, providing emotional support and a friendly, cheerful presence throughout the day.
Engagement: Encourage and assist residents in taking part in social activities, hobbies, and enjoying our beautiful gardens, helping them lead happy and fulfilled lives.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the wider care team to maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing living environment.

Experience: Both experienced carers and those completely new to the care sector are warmly welcomed! We provide comprehensive induction training and ongoing professional development.
Personality: A warm, empathetic, patient, and friendly nature with a genuine passion for helping others.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect easily and positively with residents, families, and colleagues.
