Working as a permanent Complex Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will support residents with advanced or young onset dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro rehab, and Huntington’s disease. Every day will be varied and rewarding—from assisting with daily living, food and nutrition, and tailored care plans to providing meaningful companionship, one-to-one time, and sharing great memories.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Provide specialised, high-quality care and support for residents with complex health needs.
Assist with daily living activities, personal care routines, and nutritional intake.
Deliver warm companionship and ensure each resident receives dedicated one-to-one time.
Follow individual care plans accurately and adapt to a dynamic, varied daily routine.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Some previous experience in caring for older people or individuals with complex needs.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily challenges.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted disposition.
Genuine empathy, resilience, and compassion.
