We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for an inspirational, experienced, and dedicated Deputy Manager - RGN to join the award-winning team at Darwin Court Care Home in Lichfield.
The Role
Are you an accomplished clinical leader looking for a rewarding permanent role where your management expertise shapes exceptional standards of care? As Deputy Manager, your focus will be supporting the General Manager to operate a compliant, effective, and person-centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and visitors while meeting stringent professional, statutory, and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
Ensuring strict adherence to medication policies and procedures, including supporting the review and administration of medicines.
Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, maintaining a sharp awareness of any changes impacting their care and care plans.
Completing monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and any other required management reports.
Attending weekly clinical meetings and actively monitoring clinical risk areas within the home.
About You

Requirements:
Hold a current NMC PIN and a recognized nursing qualification.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment in a management position.
Excellent leadership, management, and IT competency skills, alongside strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
