About the Role
We are recruiting a Bank Senior Care Assistant to provide casual, flexible cover on night shifts at The Spires in Lichfield.
In this role, you will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to supervise, inspire, and guide Care Assistants overnight. You will also support the clinical team in essential areas such as medication management, care plan reviews, and resident assessments—offering you complete control over your schedule while making a vital difference to resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide flexible night cover for planned absences, leave, and additional operational support.
Supervise, mentor, and motivate night care staff to ensure high standards of care.
Support clinical administrative duties, including medication administration and care plan updates.
Maintain a calm, warm, and dignified environment for all residents throughout the night.
About You
To join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will need:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific knowledge and practical experience in clinical care for older adults.
A warm-hearted, compassionate personality with strong leadership abilities.
