About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Branston to recruit an organized and detail-oriented Planning Coordinator for their site in Nocton.
In this vital office-based role, you will take full accountability for planning vehicle and driver resources across all three Branston sites, ensuring they are utilized in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Working closely with the transport and operations teams, your strong planning abilities and proactive mindset will help align transport schedules seamlessly with production and despatch timelines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Resource Optimization: Oversee and coordinate vehicle and driver planning to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness across all three Branston sites.
Operational Alignment: Ensure transport schedules closely align with ongoing production and despatch timelines.
Team Support: Assist in leading, managing, and supporting the transport planning team to successfully deliver daily operational requirements.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor compliance to maintain high standards of service and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes within the transport function.
System Management: Utilize specialized systems, including Qargo and Transporeon, to maximize driver and vehicle utilization.
Collaboration: Attend departmental meetings as necessary and build strong lines of communication across sites.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel.
Solid knowledge and understanding of driver and vehicle legislation.
