Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive training programmes for decontamination staff, ensuring total consistency and alignment with national and corporate standards.
Provide effective, hands-on training to guarantee staff competency and confidence in sterile services and endoscopy reprocessing.
Conduct regular competency reviews, skill assessments, and staff revalidations to maintain the highest levels of safe clinical practice.
Offer professional teaching supervision, coaching, and mentoring to nurture the development of both new and experienced team members.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment that promotes continuous professional development across the 24/7 unit.
Partner closely with management teams to seamlessly embed training initiatives into daily operational performance and quality frameworks.
Candidate Requirements
Experience & Knowledge: Proven background in delivering training or teaching sessions, accompanied by a sound working knowledge of sterile services and endoscopy reprocessing.
Compliance & Standards: Clear awareness of modern decontamination legislation, industry standards, and best practice.
Skills: Strong organizational and planning abilities to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment; exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to utilize blended learning approaches to suit varied learner needs, alongside proficiency in IT systems, Microsoft Office, and e-learning platforms.
