About the Role
Are you looking to take the next step toward retail management and lead a team in your local community? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Co-op to recruit a dedicated Customer Team Leader in Preston!
In this role, you’ll lead a small, friendly team in a fast-paced store, helping to deliver essential services and make life easier for local shoppers. Whether you're working hands-on on the shop floor, supporting home delivery drivers, or managing daily store operations, you will set the pace and help drive success.
Working Pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, and late evenings (store closing), to include at least 1 weekend shift (to be discussed further at interview).
Age Requirement: Must be aged 18 or over to authorise age-related sales and handle specific shift timings.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Shift: Own the day-to-day running of the store by leading, motivating, and coaching your team.
Shop Floor & Operations: Work hands-on on the tills and shop floor, supporting merchandising, stock accuracy, and store performance.
Customer & Community Service: Deliver a great in-store experience, promote Co-op Membership, and connect with the local community.
Team Support: Set the standard for service and efficiency while helping your colleagues thrive.
What We Are Looking For
Leadership Passion: A genuine passion for people, leadership, and inspiring others.
Flexibility: The ability to work flexibly across a variety of shift patterns as part of a team.
Retail Experience: Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (though prior experience is not essential—full training is provided!).
