Position: Assistant Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Darwen (Supporting the North Region)
Salary: £43,562 per annum + Car / Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 37.5 hours per week)

Workforce Planning & Strategy: Ensure the North region maintains effective workforce plans—covering staffing, recruitment, reward, employee relations, performance management, and learning & development.
HR & Employee Relations Advice: Deliver proactive, pragmatic generalist HR advice on daily employment matters, supporting managers with policy application, case management, and absence handling.
Case Management: Lead complex employee relations processes, including disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, and performance management initiatives.
Employee Engagement: Foster high standards of employee engagement and team spirit to support broader business goals and operational objectives.

Qualifications: A minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification, or alternatively an appropriate degree / higher-level qualification.
Experience: Demonstrable generalist HR experience supporting a busy business environment, with a proven track record of leading employee relations processes (disciplinaries, grievances, etc.).
Skills: Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to people management.
