Location: Wingham Court Care Home, Oaken Lane, Claygate, Esher, KT10 0RQ
Rate of Pay: £13.30 - £14.30 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (3 shifts per week: two 8-hour shifts and one 9-hour shift. Early shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Late shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, worked on a rota including alternate weekends)

We are partnering with the highly-rated Wingham Court Care Home in Esher—holding an exceptional 9.8/10 score on carehome.co.uk—to find an enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Kitchen Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will act as the crucial link between the main kitchen and our residents, helping the chefs plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and deliver a wonderful dining experience in a warm, thriving community.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the smooth link between the main kitchen and our residents.
Assist chefs in plating meals, preparing food trolleys, and keeping all preparation areas clean and tidy.
Monitor stock rotation strictly complying with company policies, procedures, and mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
Help cater for special events, seasonal activities, summer BBQs, and Christmas parties.
What We Are Looking For
A passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen environment, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
A warm, caring nature with strong communication skills and a desire to make residents feel at home and cherish everyday moments.
A proactive approach to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards in and around the home.
