About the Role
As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will use your compassion and initiative to make sure residents get the exceptional quality care they deserve. You will plan, manage, and monitor nursing delivery, implementing person-centred care plans while taking charge of rotas, staff recruitment, training, and clinical mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and monitor the delivery of top-tier nursing care across your unit.
Lead, recruit, train, and mentor staff, supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
Build and maintain positive relationships with local regulators and social services.
Oversee tailored care plans, risk assessments, and clinical excellence with full professional autonomy.
About You
To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager, you will bring:
Qualifications: Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN).
Experience: Strong background in producing care plans, risk assessments, and a proven track record of delivering quality improvements.
Leadership: Natural leadership abilities with experience acting as a clinical mentor.
Knowledge: Up-to-date expertise in clinical practices and regulatory frameworks (including DoLS/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
