About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced and innovative Clinical Lead Nurse (RMN / RMNH) on a permanent basis on behalf of Gregory House in Workington, a specialist Learning Disability and Autism service supporting 22 adults with high support needs and continuing challenging behaviour.
In this senior leadership role, you will support clinical strategy, co-produce service transformation plans, and drive clinical excellence. You will oversee nursing standards, manage clinical governance from a nursing perspective, and help shape optimal pathways that support timely community transitions and prevent unnecessary secure admissions.
What You Will Need
Qualifications: Registered Nurse qualification (RMN or RMNH) with a current, active NMC registration.
Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification experience, including 2 years of operational experience and management at a senior level.
Skills: Strong strategic thinking, clinical governance knowledge, and a passion for driving continuous improvement and high standards in nursing practice.
Proximity & Attitude: A collaborative, innovative approach to leadership, and ideally living within a manageable commute of Workington (CA14 3PD).
