About the Role
As the Head of Maintenance at Burwood Grange Care Home, you will ensure we maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment so our residents feel completely at home and staff can excel in their roles. Offering incredible variety, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Managing property maintenance across the care home building, gardens, and grounds—from minor repairs to seasonal gardening.
Working independently, leading a hands-on team, and liaising with external contractors when necessary.
Supporting the General Manager with annual budget planning.
Conducting all maintenance tasks with utmost sensitivity and consideration for our residents' wellbeing.
About You
We are looking for a reliable, skilled professional who puts resident safety and comfort first. To join us, you will need:
Hands-on experience in property maintenance, holding at least one core trade skill alongside a broad range of maintenance capabilities.
Flexibility regarding your working hours.
A full UK driving licence and IT literacy.
GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications).
