Hours: 40 hours per week (working across a 7-day rota)
Pay Rate: £15.57 per hour

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with MHA to recruit a skilled and motivated full-time Chef for The Willows nursing home in Mobberley.
The Willows is a tranquil, community-based nursing home in a picturesque village setting with a warm, inclusive team culture. Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, appealing meals for residents, visitors, and staff, catering to individual dietary needs, cultural preferences, and dementia-friendly requirements.
Menu Planning & Management: Collaborate with the Home Manager to design balanced, appetizing menus that respect residents' personal choices and dignity.
Kitchen Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, health & safety, and HACCP standards, maintaining immaculate cleanliness and accurate audit records.
Stock & Team Oversight: Manage food stocks, ordering, and kitchen budgets efficiently, while supervising kitchen assistants and supporting new staff inductions.
Catering Experience: Previous hands-on experience cooking in a care, hospitality, restaurant, or pub environment.
Food Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of food safety and HACCP principles (relevant catering qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 are desirable).
Personal Qualities: An organised, reliable, and flexible approach, combined with genuine sensitivity to the dietary needs and preferences of older people.
Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Knutsford / Mobberley for a manageable and balanced commute.
